I read the article and have to wonder why we need such skepticism from those at Counterpunch.

Is it American soldiers blowing up American soldiers in Iraq? If not, who is? Is it a Bush lie that our soldiers are coming home mangled? If not, who is shooting and bombing our troops? Al Queda? Or are there other militias involved?

Once we establish that there are non Al Queda militias involved one only needs to figure out who funds and supplies them.

If they work alone, it should be easy to run out their stores of ammunition. If Iran or Syria are arming those who kill our soldiers then we have a problem.

Those who want our troops out of Iraq need to stop shooting and allow America to make good on it's promise to rebuild Iraq better than when Saddam ran it. America has made a promise to leave after the job is complete and Arabs and Persians owe the Iraqi people peace while the reconstruction work is being finished.

IF Americans don't leave after, I would consider it a breach of what we promised and could understand dissent.

I believe violence in Iraq has nothing to do with America being there, it is about POWER. Everyone wants Iraqi control including their neighbors who are willing to kill to get it.

Shouldn't people who believe in non-occupation be equally concerned with Iran occupying Iraq? America has promised to leave. Has Iran made the same promise?

I need to add that you are either a Liar or daft if you are saying that I have a desire for a war in Iraq or Iran. The war in Iraq was NOT desired but no one has given a good alternative to it other than to say we should have let Saddam screw the World longer.

Why is it that I have never asked you if you are a member of Al Queda spamming the Internet, yet I am often asked by paranoid individuals who I work for? The way your posts sound against Israel, you might very well be the Iranian President himself.

First of all, Israel was attacked by all its Arab neighbors. Don't attack someone, fail, and then whine about territory you lose in the process!

When Hezbollah kidnaps Israeli citizens and or shoots rockets into their land, don't whine when land mines are dropped all over the staging areas of which you fought from. If you don't want women and children in a war zone...........Don't hide military personnel BEHIND them.

And finally instead of negotiating with a people who claim they want Israel destroyed and supply suicide bombers to do it...........perhaps ask Iran to do one thing they won't.
Stop enriching Uranium. If you want peace, doesn't that sound like the easiest path? Wouldn't it have been soooooooooo much simpler  if Saddam had just complied? If Iran would stop nuclear enrichment.....think how pissed off Bush would be. WOW! What would Bush do? How could he STEAL all that oil? Damn the Iranians could foil his plan!!!!

Oh I know simple isn't the objective is it? We need to demonize the United States and Israel!

Isn't it sad that Peace could happen if yet today if Arabs and Persians would simply stop their Jihad on the World?

President Bush told the Middle Eastern countries that they only have 80 more years supply of oil.

Can you imagine what these spoiled Oil Dictators will do when they lose the only export they have? No wonder Iran looks like it wants nuclear weapons. They have offered the World little more in exports than oil and suicide murders. Take away the oil and we may be left with even angrier Muslims armed with nuclear weapons.

If my perception of these radicals seems harsh......you might want to work on voicing your dis-approval of the "Radicals" tactics. Such tactics are maiming women for not worshiping as "they" believe is proper. Such tactics are supporting suicide bombers in Israel and other places on the Globe.

When will I hear your voice denounce violence from Arabs against the Jewish people? Is not equally denouncing violence and bad actions the true road to peace?
